The finished stitch witchery based on the Oracle card Tina Rowley pulled for us right after we got the first round of bad news in September. It was The Iris and The Eel and referenced the eel's ability to escape harm and the Iris's history of standing for power and victory in medieval times. I couldn't find a pattern that featured both and couldn't find an eel pattern that I liked that could be interpolated onto this iris, so he's exited stage left and because I'm in a manifesting mood, I've decided he got to safety. It has yet to be blocked and framed, so it's a little rumpled, but hey, so am I.
